In July 4,The provincial government representative team led by The Secretary ofHubei Provincial Party Committee、Director of The Standing Committee of The Provincial People's Congress Hongzhong Li visited Turkey, and it had attended the Hubei China-Turkey Enterprise Top Management’s Meeting held in 18:00pm in Istanbul.TheGroup Company Chairman、The Secretary of the Party Committee Qingchun Guo,The Vice General Manager、General Manager of HICC international project company Dan Hu had been invited as Hubei Province Enterprise representatives to attend this meeting, and HICC Turkey Atlas power plant project owner representative、A-tlas Energy Corporation Vice President、Vice president of China Turkey Friendship Association Jiati Mai had been also invited to attend this meeting.
In the meeting, HICC Turkey Atlas power plant project owner representative、A-tlas Energy Corporation Vice President Jiati Mai had reported specifically the projectprogress,and gave full affirmation and recognition to the high-quality construction technology &service level of HICC.The Provincial government re-representative team ledby The Secretary Hongzhong Li listened carefully to the project cooperation and its progress report of HICC Turkey.In the meeting gap,Consul General of China in Istanbul Jingqi Gu asked Chairman Qingchun Guo for the related details of Turkey project,and give recognition to the smooth progress of the project a-gain.Jingqi Gu expressed：Turkey, as WTO member and EU-Tariff Countries member is with an unique location,it is divided by the sea with Africa in the South,both the geography and sea shipping condition is excellent. This is the exact moment when Hubei implements the strategic conception of the construction the Silk Road Economic Belt put forward by The General Secretary Jinping Xi,welcome HICC to seize the opportunity and continue to explore the Turkish market. The Consulate General will provide all-round support and assistance.
As reported,Turkey's Atlas (1+1)×600MW Iskenderun thermal power plant was invested by Turkey Atlas Energy Co., Ltd. and jointly contracted by China Aviation Technology International Holding Co., Ltd. and China Power Investment Group.HICC was mainly in charge of this thermal power plant’s building project. Since the commencement of the project in November 2011, in order to ensure the construction progress and quality, the group had made scientific planning in three aspects:project personnel allocation, construction machinery and material support, overcoming many difficulties and adverse factors in overseas construction. The project progress had been implemented in strict accordance with the node plan, and the project quality and safety had been praised by the owner, the general contractor and the supervisor and etc. Currently,The NO.2 unit had been equipped with coal blowing pipe, and the whole set had been started in July 5, and in end of July,168 operation, grid connection and power generation would be finished and The No.1 unit’s grid connected power generation be realized in Oct. 2014. The successful implementation of Atlas power plant in Turkey will lay a good foundation for HICC to seize opportunities and promote cooperation in Turkey.
